St. Johns County enterprise brings coding, robots to youngsters

Rebeca Rodriguez knelt down and requested a robotic to do kung fu. 

The robotic, named Johnny 5 after the hit ’80s film “Brief Circuit,” responded with a gradual elevating and decreasing of his mechanical arms together with a meditative, “Om.”

The robotic is one function of Code Wiz in Fruit Cove, a enterprise that enables youngsters to create within the fields of robotics, programming, 3D printing and different tech topics, Rodriguez mentioned. The enterprise, a franchise, is at 530 State Highway 13 Unit No. 5 in northwest St. Johns County. 

Rebeca Rodriguez and Eliud Rivera own Code Wiz in Fruit Cove in northern St. Johns County. The new business offers children individualized classes in robotics, computer programming, 3D printing and other tech subjects.

The enterprise gives after-school applications in addition to birthday events and programs for Lady Scouts.
